Pilot Pleads Not Guilty to Working Under the Influence

David Arnston, a former Alaska Airlines pilot, pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday for charges brought against him that claim he flew two passenger aircraft under the influence of alcohol in 2014. The 60-year old was arrested on January 20 for his alleged actions, which authorities are claiming took place on January 20, 2014. The airline has yet to comment on Arnston’s plea on the charge, which carries a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
