Toy Grenade Prompts Airport Evacuation

Terminal 4 of LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT) was briefly evacuated Wednesday morning after a toy grenade was discovered in a carry-on bag. The toy was found in the midst of a screening process and later removed by fire officials.
According to the TSA, police evacuated the terminal shortly before 6 a.m. and travelers were allowed back inside around 6:30 a.m. All operations have since returned to normal.

I was stuck in this mess. Got to the airport just after the evacuation but 20 minutes before they let anyone back in. The TSA, airport officials, employees and police did a great job getting everyone back in. Thankfully I am TSA Pre-Check approved and didn't have to wait in the lines to get back through security, saved me most likely an hour. What kind of idiot brings a toy grenade onto a plane?
