Spirit Airlines is having a promotion which has garnered plenty of publicity — yes, I have become complicit in this juggernaut — where you could “unleash your hate” and get 8,000 FREE SPIRIT miles good towards a flight by simply writing a quick and short essay of 140 characters or fewer as to why you “hate” Spirit Airlines. No thank you. Don’t get me wrong — it is a potentially brilliant promotion where up to one billion miles are being given away; and besides, you can “hate” on any airline of your choosing if you absolutely “love” Spirit Airlines.
