Russia Today has reported that Syrian missiles were fire at a commercial Russian Airbus flying over Syrian territory.

The House passage comes a day after the Senate approved the measure. It’s expected to be signed by the president.

American Airlines issued the following statement via Twitter: “We are now in a system-wide ground delay until 4:00pm CT as we work to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
