Bare Feet Aboard an Aircraft: Against Airline Policy?

An American Airlines flight attendant expressed the sole concern to a passenger having his bare feet on the wall.

We are uncertain as to whether or not the passenger decided to toe the line and remove his feet from the bulkhead wall, or simply be a heel about it and leave them up there, leading for him to potentially be an arch rival of the flight attendant.

Does one need to wear sandals in order to prevent scandals? I hope not, as I find it disgusting to see one’s foot spilling out over beyond the boundaries of the sandal.

Anyway, is it against the policy of American Airlines to have bare feet aboard the aircraft, or is this merely a case of making a big stink over nothing?
