For the remainder of 2013, you can save ten percent off of the purchase of a Hyatt gift card or certificate — up to a maximum of $2,000.00 in gift card or certificate purchases, which will yield in a savings to you of up to $200.00.

Simply enter your Hyatt Gold Passport frequent guest loyalty program membership number and the promotion code GPGIFT upon checkout here to take advantage of this offer.

The least-expensive option to ship the gift card or certificate to you will cost $6.00 — which I believe is excessive for a gift card. I suppose that shipping charge is to support the purportedly fancy packaging used to contain the gift card or certificate. Because of this shipping charge, a $50.00 gift card would be worthless for this promotion, as you would save $5.00 but must pay a minimum of $6.00 for shipping — but I suppose that is better than not getting the discount of $5.00 at all.

Although the value of gift cards or certificates do not expire, there are certain terms and conditions which apply to both — such as that locations are subject to change without notice and acceptance varies by property. That scenario is apparently what happened to friends and family of FlyerTalk member hailstorm.

Regardless, if you could save up to $200.00 on your future stays in rooms at participating hotel properties which are part of the brands of Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, this could be a good deal for you.
