You will earn a welcome bonus of 5,000 Alitalia MilleMiglia frequent flier loyalty program miles after you fly as a passenger on a flight operated by Alitalia or use the services of a partner of the Alitalia MilleMiglia frequent flier loyalty program within three months of joining the Alitalia MilleMiglia frequent flier loyalty program — but hurry, as you must do so before Thursday, October 31, 2013.

One way you can used those 5,000 Alitalia MilleMiglia frequent flier loyalty program miles is to use the new Cash & Miles option introduced earlier this year to get an immediate discount of €25,00 off of a minimum purchase of €100,00 — or the equivalent in local currency — or greater.

Bonus Alitalia MilleMiglia frequent flier loyalty program miles awarded through this promotion are not qualifying and therefore cannot be used to join or renew your membership to the Alitalia Exclusive Club and cannot be combined with those awarded through other promotions related to the registration on other channels to the Alitalia MilleMiglia frequent flier loyalty program; but they may be combined with those awarded through other promotions during the same period.

Other terms and conditions may apply.

This promotion is not as lucrative as a similar promotion offered earlier this year, in which you were able to earn up to 6,000 bonus Alitalia MilleMiglia frequent flier loyalty program miles — and even then, that promotion was of questionable value to some FlyerTalk members.

However, if you plan on traveling as a passenger on a flight operated by Alitalia before January 31, 2014 and you are not yet a member of the MilleMiglia frequent flier loyalty program, you should consider taking advantage of this offer.

On the other side however, it’s still questionable whether AZ can still survive (at least) until New Year’s Eve.

That’s what I was thinking. This airlines future is cloudy.
