Catch “Mr Miles” and You Could Win Flying Blue Miles

The Flying Blue frequent flier loyalty program currently has a game available through Tuesday, June 26, 2013 where you could win one of 407 instant win prizes each day if you guess where in the world is “Mr Miles” by doing the following:

  1. Click on one of the seven continents presented
  2. Next, click on one of the nine destinations presented
  3. Finally click on “Use your chance”
  4. To confirm your choice, register or sign on thanks to the form that appears automatically
  5. After you register or sign on, a window informs you whether or not you have instantly won a prize.

You are allowed one chance per day. You can obtain three extra chances for a day by clicking on the “like” button of the official facebook internet web site, or by sending an e-mail to three of your friends using the dedicated form. Your three must to be used within the hour.

Please allow me to have “Mr Miles” himself entertain you for the next one minute and 23 seconds:

Of the 407 instant win prizes being offered each day:

  • 400 participants who must be members of the Flying Blue frequent flier loyalty program will win 500 Flying Blue frequent flier loyalty program miles
  • Seven participants will win 10,000 Flying Blue frequent flier loyalty program miles — but apparently you are not required to be a member of the Flying Blue frequent flier loyalty program to win this prize

One other instant win prize will allow you to register for the draw to win 500,000 Flying Blue frequent flier loyalty program and Platinum elite status in the Flying Blue frequent flier loyalty program.

Hints to help you with your guess as to where in the world is “Mr Miles” is located so that you may “catch” him can be found at his special twitter account as posted by FlyerTalk members — many of whom are underwhelmed at best and are skeptical that this game is little more than a way for the Flying Blue frequent flier loyalty program “to enrich the database with e-mail addresses and facebook accounts.”

I will not participate in this game. If you are not yet a member of the Flying Blue frequent flier loyalty program, it probably is not worth the trouble for the sole purpose of joining and participating in this game. However, if you are already a member of the Flying Blue frequent flier loyalty program, then I see no harm in participating in this game for a chance to win.

Apparently, the only way to catch Mr Miles is to quickly locate him after the tweet hints are sent out and before the daily prizes are exhausted. Of course, when the tweets come out at 4:30 am PDT, that makes it a little difficult to play along.
