When you purchase or gift up to a maximum of 50,000 Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points through June 23, 2013, you will receive a bonus of 50 percent additional Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points.

You may purchase your Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points in increments of 1,000 as follows:

  • 1,000 – 10,000 points for $13.50 per 1,000 points, or 0.9 cents per Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program point
  • 11,000 – 25,000 points for $12.50 per 1,000 points, or 0.8333 cents per Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program point
  • 26,000 – 50,000 points for $11.50 per 1,000 points, or 0.7667 cents per Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program point

This means that you will pay a grand total $575.00 for 75,000 Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points — including the bonus.

Tip: Do not purchase towards the high end of a tier based on the above list — rather, jump up to the lowest level of the next tier. For example, you can spend $312.50 for 25,000 Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points — but if you decide to purchase 26,000 Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points instead, you actually save $23.50 because you will only spend $299.00; yet you get 1,500 additional Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points when you include the bonus.

Even still, FlyerTalk members are less than enthusiastic about this promotion: “Just got the email too but it seems like a terrible deal. For example: Category 6 redemption is about 35k. Where most Category 6 hotels cost $130-$150 per night, it would cost $265 to buy 35k points”, posts FlyerTalk member pkoo.

I will pass on this promotion myself, as I have been able to earn Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points for free by various means — including but not limited to:

  • Short surveys and quizzes such as this one, this one, this one and this one — although I am not sure if they are still valid
  • The infamous watching a 90-second video for 1,000 Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points — but this one has been hit and miss
  • I earned an easy 20,000 Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points through this expired challenge
  • My Coke Rewards points have earned me thousands of Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points

The price includes all applicable fees. Purchased Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points are not refundable and are applicable toward all Priority Club Rewards awards. Members may purchase a maximum of 50,000 Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points per calendar year and receive as a gift a maximum of 50,000 Priority Club Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points per year.
