An Airbus A321 aircraft operating as Air India flight 403 from Delhi to Bangalore was reportedly diverted to Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal this past Monday because the pilot was supposedly locked out of the cockpit during a lavatory break due to a jammed door.

Upon arrival in Bhopal, the door was repaired by ground maintenance personnel before the flight was resumed approximately two hours later. There were no reports of any injuries or fatalities.

At least the co-pilot was awake — unlike this incident which occurred back in February involving a Boeing 737 aircraft operated by Transavia Airlines during a flight from Greece to the Netherlands where the pilot was locked out after taking a lavatory break.
