If you have ever wanted to serve FlyerTalk as a member of TalkBoard, now is your chance, as you can be one of five FlyerTalk members to be elected by a popular vote — but you must apply by Thursday, November 1, 2012.
FlyerTalk continues to grow as a community, and you can play an important role towards guiding and improving FlyerTalk for the future by volunteering to become a TalkBoard member. The TalkBoard is a member-elected board which represents a wide cross-section of FlyerTalk members and provides direction and decisions on issues that affect the FlyerTalk community as a whole. Once you are elected by fellow FlyerTalk members, you will represent them on recommending decisions with regard to the management, organization and content of FlyerTalk.
You are encouraged to run for a chance to become one of four newly-elected TalkBoard members and serve a two-year term, especially if you are based outside of the United States.
Additionally, if you want to ask the candidates any questions for the upcoming debate, please submit them to carol@flyertalk.com for consideration.
