Win a Hotel Room at the Chicago Seminars — Courtesy of the Delta Points Weblog

René — author of the Delta Points weblog at BoardingArea — has an extra hotel room available at the Holiday Inn Chicago-Elk Grove, which is the official host hotel for the Chicago Seminars during the weekend from October 12 through October 14, 2012. He could not use the extra room and graciously offered it to me, but I had already secured lodging for that weekend. He then came up with the idea that he should give the hotel room reservation away as a prize and asked me how to let FlyerTalk members know about it. I offered to publicize his generosity here at The Gate, hoping that a FlyerTalk member can benefit.

Delta Points will cover the cost of the room for Friday and Saturday night, October 12 and 13, 2012 — and this includes tax. However, you will be required to provide your own credit card to cover any incidentals during your stay, as they are not included in this offer. Since Delta Points paid for the room, René — not me or you — gets the Priority Club frequent guest loyalty program points for your stay. By entering, you must agree that you already will be attending the Chicago Seminars — as it is sold out — and you will use the room. Of course, if you are the winner and want the room anyway without attending the Chicago Seminars, that is entirely up to you — just as long as the room does not remain unused during that weekend.

Enter by commenting at Delta Points by Sunday, October 7, 2012, when the winner will be chosen.

If you are attending the Chicago Seminars — organized by none other than Rick Ingersoll, better known as the Frugal Travel Guy — please be sure to say hello to René and I during the ”Blogger” Questions and Answers session on Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 1:00 through 3:00 in the afternoon. I will also be moderating the Hilton Hotel Breakout Session earlier the same day from 10:15 in the morning until noon.

René and I look forward to seeing you at the Chicago Seminars!
