Starting on October 29, 2012, Marriott Rewards frequent guest loyalty program members can earn ten points per dollar or two miles per dollar, elite nights, enjoy all elite benefits and redeem points for free nights at the Gaylord National, Gaylord Palms and the Gaylord Texan hotel properties, and at the Gaylord Opryland hotel property early next year when it joins the Marriott Rewards frequent guest loyalty program after necessary system upgrades are completed.
Marriott Rewards frequent guest loyalty program points cannot be earned if arriving at a Gaylord Hotels property prior to October 29, 2012 — even if you check out after that date. Ritz-Carlton Rewards frequent guest program members may also earn and redeem points at Gaylord Hotel properties.
The frequent guest loyalty program points earned are on room rates only. Incidentals, taxes, fees and other charges are not included. Also, breakfast is not expected to be included as an elite benefit, and none of the four Gaylord Hotels properties currently have lounges for elite members.
Marriott International, Incorporated first announced its intent to acquire all four Gaylord Hotels properties via a press release earlier this year. The deal was approved by stakeholders of Gaylord Hotels last month.
