I received an e-mail message this morning from Denny Flanagan — veteran pilot and captain at United Airlines and also known as FlyerTalk member Capt Denny — announcing that contributions to the Jason Dahl Scholarship fund have exceeded all expectations, as $12,021.00 has already been donated as compared to $8,400.00 last year.
This news means that the initial goal of $10,000.00 has already been met and exceeded — so what is next?
Because of another $5,000.00 match which has just been announced, the Jason Dahl Scholarship fund only needs another $4,879.00 to reach the new goal of $20,000.00 — twice the original goal set for this year.
