Before you decide to download this application, please be aware of issues reported by fellow FlyerTalk members:
- All of your searches will supposedly be tracked
- Once this application is installed on your Apple Macintosh computer, you reportedly cannot uninstall it
- You cannot install this application on a mobile device
- Some reports indicate that the 500 US Airways Dividend Miles appear in your account as many as 60 days after the initial activity
The original toolbar was a convenient and easy way of keeping your US Airways Dividend Miles from expiring and keeping your account active without having to pay anything, but this method no longer exists.
Fret not, however, as there is another way to prevent your US Airways Dividend Miles from expiring and keep your account active, as well as those of Starwood Preferred Guest and Delta Air Lines SkyMiles: Audience Rewards, where you can earn up to 20 frequent traveler miles or points for answering each trivia question correctly.
For the reasons listed above, I am thinking of passing on the US Airways Dividend Miles for downloading this application, although it may be a potential “hit” for you if you participate in the annual Grand Slam promotion — so popular with FlyerTalk members that the Grand Slam promotion has its own dedicated sub-forum.
