In cooperation with the TalkMail newsletter, The Gate will list FlyerTalk member gatherings and events scheduled to take place within the next 15 days as a final reminder before the events actually occur. The purpose of this is to promote the gathering of FlyerTalk members, especially when a FlyerTalk member posts a last-minute event in the CommunityBuzz! forum on FlyerTalk which would be considered too late to include in the TalkMail newsletter. The TalkMail newsletter will cover FlyerTalk member gatherings and events which are planned in advance.

- July 14, 2012 Edina Come to the twin cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul and join Sweet Willie in partaking in some drinks and dinner with fellow FlyerTalk members in this Minnesota city.
- July 17, 2012 Chicago Join Sweet Willie again – this time in indulging in gourmet tacos for dinner.
- July 20 – 22, 2012 Ann Arbor It would not be fair to miss the eighth annual Ann Arbor Fair Do – hosted once again by GrizShel – where you can discuss tips on earning and using points and miles as well as enjoy drinks and dinner with fellow FlyerTalk members in this Michigan city.
- July 20 – 22, 2012 Kansas City You may join Condition One on one condition – that you promise to eat barbecue until you “fall into a food coma” and then fill in the spaces left in your overfilled stomach with frozen custard during the seventh annual MCI BBQ DO.
- July 27, 2012 Seattle In recognition of those Delta Air Lines reservations and customer service telephone agents whose offices are slated to close in August, DLroads is hosting an event where FlyerTalk members can show their appreciation and thank them personally. Among other things, this event includes door prizes, doughnuts, an airfare discount, and a possible opportunity to be a telephone representative serving actual customers. Are you up to the task?
