Looking for a quick way to earn some extra airline miles? Marriott Rewards is revving up its MegaMiles promotion this summer and partnering with more than 30 popular frequent flier programs to offer triple miles for members who stay at participating hotels between July 1st and October 31st.
Marriott Rewards members who register for the summertime promotion and stay at participating hotels will earn triple miles with their preferred airline programs. Triple points start accruing on a guest’s a second stay at any of Marriott’s 3,600 participating hotels, and registration for the program will remain open until October 31, 2012.
Marriott has partnered with a number of the most popular airline programs for this promotion, including Alaska Airlines, British Airways, Delta, JetBlue, KLM/Air France, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic Airways.

Therefore, the cheaper the room price, the greater the deal as far as Rapid Rewards members are concerned.
