Wisconsin Members May Transfer EarlyReturns Miles to Delta SkyMiles

As a result of significantly reduced flights to and from Milwaukee in order for Frontier Airlines to attempt to return to profitability, if you are a member of the EarlyReturns frequent flier loyalty program of Frontier Airlines and you have a Wisconsin address on file with Frontier Airlines, you have a one-time opportunity to convert your EarlyReturns miles to Delta Air Lines SkyMiles on a one-to-one basis until August 31, 2012.

Frontier Airlines is offering this unusual courtesy to its EarlyReturns frequent flier loyalty program members just as Delta Air Lines is purportedly increasing service to and from Milwaukee.

Additionally, if you have Summit elite level status on Frontier Airlines, it will not only be retained through its current expiration date, but you also get to experience Silver Medallion elite status on Delta Air Lines for 90 days — and to retain Silver Medallion elite status, simply earn 8,000 Medallion Qualification Miles or ten Medallion Qualification Segments on Delta Air Lines or Delta Connection flights within that same 90-day period.

To me, this offer is a “no-brainer”, as you get to convert your miles with no loss in conversion from a low-cost carrier to a major legacy airline with numerous international destinations — and FlyerTalk members apparently wholeheartedly agree.
