What is FlyerTalk to you?

I started a job last August that involed much frequent flying and thanks to Flyer Talk, I went from one who has flown mostly AA nearly all of my life without status to a full blown, qualified through the normal channels EXP on AA and Platinum on Starwood. I come to FlyerTalk regularly now and am constantly amazed at the information I can glean here.

What has to change on FlyerTalk?

We need to get a definitive answer on the endlessly asked question: "As an EXP on AA, don't I get a free drink and snack while flying an RJ?"

What do you like best about FlyerTalk?

The knowledge that some of the forum members have and are willing to share, peppered with the occasinal dose of snark.

LTH Forum - a place I go to regularly to read about great places to eat in Chicago and beyond. A group who dissented too much on Chowhound and started their own board.
Wine Disorder - a group of passionate wine drinkers who dissented too much on the E Robert Parker boards and started their own place to vent and exchange terrific tasting notes.
