What is FlyerTalk to you?

Flyertalk is every weekday from 1 PM to 4 PM and much more on weekends. Flyertalk is everytime I'm at an airport with wireless. Flyertalk is my first and last resource and resort for all things travel. It's also a place where I can talk about my favorite habit (travel/miles) without having to explain myself to judgemental people.

What has to change on FlyerTalk?

I think Moderation needs to be expanded to some of the ancilary forums like the lesser used hotels (Choice) and rental card (Dollar). Also, greater control needs to be exerted in the Delta forum.

What do you like best about FlyerTalk?

The community spirit (everyone will say that) and the fact that everyone ehre seems to share my belief that "as soon as you stop learning, you start dying".

State a platform motto or goals for FlyerTalk for the future.

No one will be made to feel stupid for having an opinion in 2010.

Name your three favorite forums and why.

Community Buzz: Where else can people ask for help supporting their causes (be they breast cancer walks or heavy drinking), get to know each other and bond over shared interests?

Mileage Buzz: This has always seemed to be the foundation of Flyertalk to me. The bedrock upon which all other forums are based and the first source for mileage help that we should all turn to.

Trip Reports: This is where my favorite reading and viewing go on. The best creative efforts in writing and photography are shown here. Also, this is an excellent resource for future trips. It's also very well moderated.
