In Brief: Delta Gate Agent Allegedly Used Credentials to Bypass TSA & Board Flights

A Delta Air Lines gate agent has been indicted on charges of security violations after he allegedly used his credentials to bypass the TSA and board several flights. James Crawford was arrested on January 24 after reportedly bypassing security and boarding an international flight to Hartsfield-Atlanta International Airport (ATL). The arrest came by way of a tip to the Delta Ethics and Compliance Office on December 26. The tipster accused Crawford of boarding several international and domestic flights without going through proper TSA screening since September 2014. The FBI was notified on January 16 and is investigating the case.
