Stayed 2 nights for an event at the hotel-it's an older property &, as such, is very smokey, no matter where you are & it is for this reason that I rated the hotel as I did. Even the floors that are officially non-smoking are smokey, though thankfully it didn't seem to permeate into the guest rooms themselves or the showroom. We did not eat in any of the restaurants while there since they, too (w/the exception of Salvatore's) are all open to the casino. Fortunately, the one thing Las Vegas doesn't lack for is dining options & there are many nearby (even walkable for those want some exercise). The guest rooms themselves, however, are pleasantly large-even in the 2 Queen Bed room we had, there was ample room to move around (unlike the JW Marriott Indianapolis). Bathroom was large w/a separate room for the shower & the most counter space I think I've ever seen in a hotel. Hair dryer was, at best, anemic. AC in the guest room, again unlike the JW Marriott Indy, worked so well my roommate actually turned it off during the night! Rooms also come with a mini-fridge, courtesy of the 'resort fee' which also includes the in-room wifi for up to 3 devices, though speed wasn't the greatest, it's better than other hotels I've been in. The good news is that the 'resort fee' was only $9.99, but this is hardly what I would consider a 'resort'. If the ventilation were better, we might consider returning, but there are too many other options available.
