All the ones I've made so far require you to cancel by 6:00 PM the day before!
While the hotels certainly are cheap, it's really not worth my time unless they come through with the 10K miles (times N). I'm going to be riding herd on them very closely, 'cuz in order to pull this off I'm foregoing the Choice promo and probably the Marriott promo as well. For points, not worth it at all.

I've had three stays this year (one Days Hotel, two Ramadas). Only the Days refused to posted in a timely matter. A month later I sent in an email and the stay was credited. This does seem to be a common problem sadly.

I think this company is playing chicken. Hold back points/miles from posting. X percent will forget entirely. Of the Y percent that don't forget, Z percent of them will call or email and then forget.
I am sure their bean counters have calculated the percentages of X, Y, and Z and WR sees the financial savings by dragging their feet.
This truly is a horrible program. I won't say the worst because I have had to fight for Choice points and LaQuinta points as well.
With Miami Hilton properties being so dang expensive, last night I booked a room at the Ramada using the Wyndham website.
When I checked in this afternoon, no rewards number, no customer data (Had to fill in the reservation form) and then they copied my DL (Which I HATE) In this day and age; that is just unacceptable.
I wonder how long it would have taken to figure out who I was had I been a no-show?

At least six times I with WR properties I have found when checking in that there was no WR# in the reservation. Yet they had my CC# on file and needed me to present the card for swiping.

A nanosecond to charge the card you used to reserve the room. I guarantee it. Again .

You know as bad as they are, I did get my 10,000 miles for participating in their promotion this year earlier than I expected to. This did increase their standing in my eyes.
