Dior Airflash foundation

Can I carry this foundation as checkin? It's probably too big for carryon. I just bought it for the first time.

Are you asking about TSA rules on what's allowed in your checked baggage? If so, here's the list. I don't see a reason you couldn't check that, but yes, it is over the liquids size for carry-ons. If you want more on the security side of it, I can move this to the Security forum.

I'm curious how you like the foundation. It seems to be a spray would be difficult. Does it work well?

It looks like it's 2.3 ounces, so not over the carry on size (which is 3.1 ounces or 100 ml).

Either way (carryon or checked), I'd put it in a ziplock bag in case it leaks.

Thanks Katja. My mind wasn't working ...

I believe it's a compressed air spray, like aerosol hairspray. I have to shake & spray. Don't think it'll leak. But not sure if it'll crack under pressure.

I used my friend's spray once and loved the result. It's easy to use but at the same time a bit tricky to master the technique. BTW I've to cover my hairline and neck when spraying. But once I blend it, it's awesome. Light, good even coverage and stays on for the entire day (no kidding). I bought it thinking it'll be easy to use on the trips. One light spray and I'm done.

Expensive for foundation, but with the Sephora discount, I decided to get one for myself and see.

I've used it for a while. It goes quickly but I love it!

I use Mac's aerosol foundation, and have never had a problem taking it through security as a carry-on.
