A bomb threat against #WS722 (Vancouver-Toronto) caused a diversion to @FlyYYC. The aircraft has landed safely in Calgary.

We believe the threat against #WS722 is a hoax. We diverted the flight out of an abundance of caution.

#YYJ officials confirm bomb threat called in on @WestJet flight 1709 Vegas-Victoria. Passengers are in customs at YYJ airport.

I'm surprised Westjet hasn't come forward with a large reward for info leading to the arrest of this person.

Reminds me of the '60s, '70s and '80s when hijackings and bomb threats were "common."

These events are now police incidents, and the authorities will decide if and when they will update the public.
