Westjet paperless boarding pass

Does wj allow paperless boarding passes at
MIA?
I guess its more like a TSA question.
If I present the MIA security officers with a pdf copy of my boarding pass (and my wife's) on an IPAD will they let me go through security and go to my gate?
I am asking this as I don' t have access to a printer on the day I will do my online check-in. Thanks.

Chances are not. WS doesn't allow mobile boarding passes on transborder flights as not all US airports are equipped to recognize them. You can always reprint your boarding pass at a kiosk once you're at MIA.

Do you know if there are WJ check-in counters at MIA before entering security so that I can print the boarding pass at the airport if I cannot get access to a printer? thanks

I've done it before on a LAX-YVR flight.

It worked fine. Please see my other posting at:
Paperless boarding passes
The flight turned out to be operated by AA so WJ would not let me go on with the mobile check-in but the same reservation code worked for AA and I ended up checking-in on AA.com

Is this still unavailable for US-originating flights? (Or is there something else wrong with my itinerary that I'm not seeing the option?) Seems like this limitation has been in place for a very long time, if so!

Yes I believe it's still restricted Transborder (to US), AC is also currently in the same boat as well (Mobile for Domestic/Intl - Excl US)

Not sure why it would be restricted, as I use paperless boarding passes on my transborder flights on Delta all the time.
