Only a few months after AC dropped the YYZ. Maybe there is more demand from YVR?

i would think there would be more demand from YVR, especially for leisure travellers, at least vs. YYZ. For families going to Disneyland, this would be easier than LAX.

And I think there would be more demand from westcoast to SNA than out east. From what I understand familes out east primarily go to Orlando / Disneyworld vs. Orange County / Disneyland.

However, article didn't indicate that WS was looking at YVR-SNA or what the route would be, assuming all approvals occur.

See thread below, where it seems a lot of pilots discuss amongst themselves, among other topics, the SNA addition. It appears that Westjet recently did a brief noise test flight at SNA.

As was noted in the article OP linked:

WestJet will conduct noise tests at JWA on Tuesday, part of a vetting process designed to keep the peace in surrounding neighborhoods.
