The Westin Harbour Castle was overall a very
nice hotel... but A few unusual things happened to me there:
*The hotel forgot to take off the $100 Visa
discount certificate for using my Visa at my
last Westin stay. I had to remind them to
honour the coupon.
*The revolving restaurant was fun, but it seems here (and other places) single diners
often wait longer to be seated and served.
*I returned to my room after my meetings and
saw a whole collectoin of dry cleaned men's
clothes in my closet. They are not mine (I
couldn't even fit into them!) The receipt had my room number on it but I just arrived... couldn't have had ANYTHING dry cleaned!
*Last three stayed I've been upgraded to the
Premier Gold floor. I don't mind the high
rise view (Unless I've become Gold and someone forgot to tell me.(
*At his Westin and at teh one in Maui, most
staff members unaware the Westin Premier
program is changing. Just asked this out of
my cat curiousity... but shouldn't they be
told things like, for example, the program's merging with Sheraton next year?
Yes, this is all very CATTY (Even filled out
the 60 sec review paper) but I just wanted to
