Salt Lake City hotel recommendation
Four of us are off from Vegas to Yellowstone Sunday.
Thought we'd stop in Salt Lake first night. Hotels look cheap, and I haven't been there in 40 years.
Anyone know of a nice, quiet, possibly scenic hotel? We just need two rooms, 1 night up and 1 night back. Like to keep it under $100/room night. Expedia shows plenty of 3 stars for around $60. Will consider Priceline, too.
Also open to suggestions for where to stay in Yellowstone. We have two days to see and drive the park.
Thanks -
BK

Not sure if you are indicating Sunday July 12 or July 19, however, a brand-new Hyatt Place has just opened (within the last 12 days or so) next to the Gateway complex in downtown SLC.
Larger rooms (bed and a sleeper sofa), 42" HDTV, free wi-fi internet and free continental breakfast might make it good for a larger traveling party. They're showing an $89.00 Hyatt.com rate for July 12.
