Seattle Museum Month 1/2 price admission - February

Seattle Museum Month offers half-price museum admission passes when staying at participating properties.

How does it work? It’s simple. When you check into a participating downtown Seattle hotel, you will receive a Seattle Museum Month packet. This packet contains a helpful map of participating museums and a guest pass. Present this pass at participating museums and receive HALF-PRICE ADMISSION during Seattle Museum Month, February 1-28.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is going to save me a bundle next week -- 4 people x 4 days worth of museums we were planning to go to anyway. And as luck would have it, the hotel I already booked is participating. #winning

That's kinda cool. Now if I just had time to go up there this month!

Is the guest pass only valid during the hotel stay? If not, it could be cost effective for locals to stay one night in a participating hotel.

Yes, the webpage says the passes are only valid the dates of stay. When I check in Sunday, I'll report back if the passes are date stamped.

The passes are pretty fancy - plastic the size of a hotel key card with no date stamp. Each card is valid for four guests. I used the discount yesterday at the Asian art museum for 3-4.5 bucks each. ^

I took a photo with my phone, but for some reason I can't upload the image.

FYI, the discount applied to Chihuly Garden and Glass tickets, but not to the Space Needle combo tickets they sell.

Or the funds. DEN-SEA weekend flights are $405 and up.
