Seattle driving time

I'm staying at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and have a Global Entry interview at SEA at 8:15 tomorrow (Friday). What's a realistic departure time from JBLM to make it to SEA in time? Based on a 35-minute travel time in good traffic, I'm currently planning on leaving 90 minutes prior.

That ought to be okay. You can always duck over to SR 99 once past Fife if things are really struggling on I-5. Listen to the radio.

In case anyone comes looking for this info, I left about 80 minutes prior and got to SEA in about 50 minutes. No issues on the roads.

I am surprised you didn't have any issues. It seems they have been doing construction around Tacoma and it has been horrendous forever. I am glad you made it to your interview with no issues.
