New Years Eve in Scottsdale
 

Hello All- Can anyone recommend a restaurant in Scottsdale that will be good for New Year's Eve for a couple? Looking for a pre-fix multi-course meal with live music, dancing, etc. Any price will be fine. We're staying at the Westin Kierland Resort. Thanks in advance!

Age of crowd that you're willing to tolerate or want to be around?

We'd prefer an older crowd. Definitely no hip hop/rap music.

Hmm, I think that that is going to rule out most of Scottsdale then as I think that the traditional clubs will cater to a younger crowd.

I would think that the Westin Kierland or one of the other hotel resorts would be having some kind of NYE event that may interest you. Pre-fixe menus will be available at many restaurants I'm sure but combined with dancing and live music, not sure that a lot of restaurants have the floor space for that.

Try Lon's, at the Hermosa Inn. The NYE scene with Whitney Houston in "Waiting to Exhale" was filmed in the main dining room there.

I live directly behind the hotel and walk over a few times a week. The staff is amazing, and the food is excellent. I hope you enjoy it!

Zinc Bistro -- right across the street in Kierland.

Don't know about the dancing and live music but have enjoyed several fine meals @ Vincent's on Camelback over the years.
They usually do a price fix meal for all holidays.

We have had several nice meals there. It is small and intimate and one can eat outdoors if the weather is decent. They will have a price fixe meal as well.
