After becoming a Flying Club Silver member through this promotion, I also received complimentary Regus Businessworld Gold status. The following may be of interest to some business travelers:

http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/us...egussilver.jsp

“As a Flying Club Silver member, Regus is offering you complimentary businessworld gold membership worth $300 per annum.

Benefits of Regus businessworld gold include:
- Opportunity to earn thousands of Flying Club miles*
- Unlimited access to 1,000 business lounges and cafés worldwide
- 10% discount on meeting rooms, day offices and videoconferencing
- Complimentary internet and refreshments on every visit
- Professional administrative support from packing and shipping to document printing and binding"

Terms and conditions are available at: http://www.regus.com/vaaterms

Here’s how I signed up:

1. Called the phone number provided on Regus Group’s home page (1-800-OFFICES), then pressed 3
2. Spoke to a Regus Group customer rep and told her about the 1 year Regus Gold complimentary promotion through Virgin Atlantic
3. Gave her my Flying Club membership number, and was instantly given Gold membership. Received immediate confirmation via e-mail

Despite the Virgin website, Regus said this offer expired. They're now offering 50% off instead.

Flying Club Silver

I have just recieved my VS silver card even though I have never flown with Virgin. Slightly reduced to 20 tier points to get to Gold; 2 upper class flights. Good marketing, I will now try them even though the program does not seem any good compared to BA & LH.

Did you get your Heathrow/Gatwick Express upgrade vouchers?

I asked about the points. Here's the response. I guess this means they haven't "validated" my account since it's been more than a month:

Quote:
2,500 bonus Flying Club miles will be automatically credited to your Flying Club account within seven (7) days of your Flying Club account being validated.

Hilton Hotels Corporation will credit 2,500 Hilton HHonors bonus points to your Hilton HHonors account within eleven (11) weeks of your Flying Club account being validated.

Missed the boat?

I am a Flying Club Red member with circa 100k points.

Am also a member of Hilton HHonors.

I'd quite like to get Silver for the 25% boost on points as I'm shortly to book a flight to Vegas.

Saving my points to get to 120,000 to upgrade from Economy to Upper, return to Sydney.

All of these promo links seem to have expired.

Would it be worth...and can anyone provide the info...sending an email saying I'm a member of this, and that, and notice you offered Silver upgrades...could I have one...sort of thing? Or wasting my time?

Interesting, as I didn't receive either and mailed a screen shot. Their response was I needed to deal with HH on the 2500 HH points. Nothing yet, except the Silver card from VS.
