VA Plats treated like NZ Elites when flying NZ?
Seems like it.

I was recently seated in economy near a passenger on an NZ long-haul who was approached by the flight concierge, welcomed as a VA Platinum and handed some noise cancelling headsets. ^

Any Plats have this experience?

I've had this as a gold, occasionally and inconsistently. I haven't figured out the pattern, if there is one.

Interesting.

What about if a VA Gold or Plat books through NZ do you have access to premium seat select?

yes, I was able to select premium seats as VA Plat on an AirNZ booking which is ironic as part of the booking included VA which I couldn't select online (but could by phone)
