Question re Velocity earning
For flights on Virgin Australia the Velocity website says that one earns 5 points per $ spent on flights. Does one also earn points per mile travelled, or does that only apply on other V group flights.

Earn 5 points per dollar spent with Virgin Australia (DJ) flights, while other flights flown with our partner airlines are based on miles (not dollars).
