Total YQ/Taxes on Prem Econ to Upper Miles Upgrade?

What's a rough estimate of the cash cost portion of a miles upgrade from Prem Econ to Upper Class for NYC -> LHR?

Currently flying BA out this time around due to a lack of upper reward seats on my flight dates but tempted to give VS a try.

When I've previously upgraded from PE to UC I had a charge of Ł67. That being said it was for LHR->JFK. I don't know if the tax situation is different for going in the opposite direction?

the easiest way is to do a dummy UC booking and Dummy PE booking and look at the fare breakdown in the 'fees/ carrier surcharges/taxes' section.

There certainly won't be any UK (APD) tax to pay. The bulk will be the VS surcharges.

I did this upgrade in March (for JFK-LHR). Was $175.22 total.
