What is the fare class for MCS comp upgrades?

I see that W represents full fare MCS and Q is a discounted MCS.
Z is also listed by EF as Premium Economy but not a sold fare class.

Does Q or Z represent the availability for complimentary MCS upgrades once inside the respective window by tier?

VX uses a separate bucket for upgrades. It is (or was) O and X for MCS and FC respectively.

I have purchased Z class MCS through VX. My experience is that it is the cheapest MCS fare class, so it often sells out well in advance of the flight.

Comp upgrades book into O. Elite upgrades to first book into X. Paid MCS UG is R and Paid first UG is G.
