Transferring points

Got an email that said if we transfer now we get 30% bonus points. Is now the time to finally do it?

Also, once my points are on Alaska, can I still use them for Virgin flights?

What exactly did the email say?

Everyone is already getting a 30% transfer bump when converting VX miles to AS. Is it a 30% bonus on VX miles, and then still the 1:1.3 transfer ratio to AS?

I'm fairly sure that's just a reference to the 1:1.3 transfer ratio.

Noticed that too. Wording makes it seem that if you transfer now you get a 30% bonus, and you may not get it if it automatically transfers a year from now. I doubt that will be the case, but thats what the wording made it sound like. But its just the "regular" 1:1.3 ratio
