Can people in lower-priority boarding groups board with me?

The question is a little obscure.

I have an upcoming flight with boarding group "priority" and am traveling with some friends in group "A". Can they board with me?

Does it matter? I'd hope that the answer here is "no", regardless.

I'm in row 10, they're in row 9 (right in front of me).

Isn't row 9 main cabin select? I think MCS boards right after F, doesn't it?

NM, I'm wrong, 9 is the EE row that is MC because it doesn't recline.

Technically no. They might allow it, it wouldn't shock me. Or board at the end of priority, that way you're the last priority and they can be the first group A!

Just to follow up, the question was kinda moot. We were flying SFO-LAS and there was no boarding order, just a general boarding call for all pax.

Really? I fly SFO-LAS all the time and they always board in order. Was the plane mostly empty or something?

This week in SFO, I brought my daughter along with Priority boarding as soon as they called Elevate elites. I had asked prior to boarding and the agent said: " No problem, just bring her on when we call for Elevate elites." ^
