Wow! What a smart move. They won't sit there for a long hours. I think the timing is good. They don't have worry about the slots for the winter season.

Flights being reduced to one per day from SFO & LAX so they have planes for these season routes. They fought like crazy for ORD gates, and now have reduced it to 1 per day.

Thoughts?

The VX route dartboard continues.

If they can't make ORD work as a multiple daily destination from their hubs, wonder when they will start cutting back DAL...

They won't know for sure. If they found more gates space. They'll get it.

FlyerTalk is about discussing travel. About 40% of FlyerTalkers, probably note than that, are not native speakers of English; native speakers speak and write English with considerable variety, as well. E.g. licence vs license, boot vs trunk, pickup truck vs bakkie, trainers vs takkies, etc.

If the only comments that come to mind are to criticise others' use of language or grammar, please do not bother posting; critical and overly personal comments directed at other members are not welcome and will be summarily deleted. Repeated posts of this nature are disuptive, against the Rules and a sure path to at least temporary loss of one's membership privileges (bestowed in return for an agreement to abide by the FlyerTalk Rules).

By far the majority of FlyerTalkers understand and appreciate mutual respect and civil discourse; this is a reminder for the few who may have forgotten in the heat of the moment.
