Recent Online Upgrade attempt experiences?

My last trip it just didn't work (April) - multiple attempts on 2 computers with 3 different browsers - it constantly got "hung up" at the last step. Has anyone been successful in recent weeks? (Debating whether to wake myself up in the middle of the night to try.)

April no and mid-may, no. On my June return though I was able to do MC to MCS a minute after the 24 hour period with no issue.

Mine of last week (MCS to F) worked at 6 hours - the first one got a bit hung up and when I got back in, 2 of the 4 F seats available a minute earlier were gone. The return worked without a hitch.

What's the going rate for MC to MCS on short haul (LAS-SFO) these days?

For those who don't know and would appreciate an answer - it's $39.

MC->F is $79 on SEA-LAX. Pretty decent value (some are not fans of VX's food and service style, but I am one of them- the food's healthy and the service is friendly and helpful for me), and the silverware doesn't bend like it's during a Uri Geller TV appearance.
