Don't we still have some kind of inside contact through an FT'er as part of a lobbying group? Or should we all send constant emails to customer service (not tech support unless you want the canned response about a beta website they're still sending back) and reference the list of issues here?

was doing OLCI yesterday using the link they emailed me. When I clicked on the button, it said I had an Upgrade (woohoo!), so I clicked on the seat assignment button to select a new FC seat and got the whirring flags and the screen froze on that. To stop it I had to close the browser window and start from scratch again. I was worried that somehow I might lose my upgrade, but it was still there and I finally was able to do seat selection.

Hi there,

I have been trying to join US Dividend Miles through usairways.com for the last 48 hours, but always get a silly message after finishing the last step (filling in the security code) saying "we´re sorry, but we are unable to process your application. Please try again.".
I have tried to solve this by switching off the computer and then start all over again, but no success.

Has anyone had the same problem or does anyone have some advice?

Thank´s!

For those of you have the credit card (and therefore DMS icon when you login), it appears they have activated the ability to get the 5,000 mileage reduction on US metal when redeeming rewards. I was doing some searching and it automatically deducted the 5,000 miles with a separate line item. I did not complete the process, but went through all the way to the last page.

This is a nice improvement, though it does not make up for all the other issues.

Cheers.

Haven't seen this one posted yet.

On the "Your Miles" screen, it correctly shows me as Silver. However, when I change the filter date to include October, it shows me as Chairmans.

US has gone from best to worst as far as Im concerned.

Their old website was reasonably fast and the GUI was great for identifying a large range of flights to any destination.

It is starting from scratch to relearn the new site. Was there no survey about the website for the FF's?

Were any regular users contacted about the website?

One of the best things about US was the website, now it's no better than AA or United. In fact, it's worse.

I had this happen to me today too, except in my case I was elevated from nothing to Chairmans

I hate when you hit the back button to the start page, say if you want to select completely different dates and it resets the to/ from fields. Not sure this is a bug or if they designed it this way.

I also find the $540+ MHT to DCA nonstop OUTRAGEOUS!

I have run into this problem when name is too long.My friend had long last name so system was not able to handle it.I called them and got account created onphone where they chopped first part of last name.

Another issue it took the username which was tried once and didn't allow it to be used again ,giving out message its in use.Though the account was never created.

Another issue: While checking for award miles required for flight from oma.It errors out though it allows from mci, another midwest airport

They did not test it adequately.

Log-In difficulties

I am new here and I need your opinon and your help: Recently I opened two Dividend Miles accounts -about two weeks ago- they both have my name and adress data-and I purchased with my credit card 300.000 miles for the first account and 150.000 for the second.Today I wanted to log in to my accounts to book award flights, but a fault code comes up,whenever I try to log in,indicating, that my accounts cannot be found anymore and dont exist-togehter with a long alphanumerical fault code and a phone number. What does that mean? Have I lost my miles and my money over night? I am in a hurry, because I have to plan my trips for 2010 right now and I want to book award flights for my family-so called off peak saver offers. And only few seats are still available in this category.I called the reservaton hotline, but they cant help and assist,so I wrote several E-mails to DM customer center, but I got an automatic message, that the reply could take up to 4-5 working days.Who has an idea what this could be? I will be honest to you and tell you that I used the share miles option twice and shared miles once between both accounts. The rest of the miles have been purchased normally-and before the current promotion has started.I mean that I paid over 2 cents per mile.Who can help me? I want to book right now flights with my miles. Thank you.

I don't believe this is a website problem. I believe this is a "you cannot have two accounts" problem. It's against the rules.

Did you open two accounts specifically to work around the miles purchase maximums? It would seem so, in which case, they've probably been frozen, to be sorted out when you contact them.

I would not expect this to be sorted too quickly.

Anyone notice the website seems to have gone to crap today? All over the place I randomly get slow loads, .NET application failures and general "Server Application Unavailable" messages.

Right now I can't get to "My Account" - earlier I couldn't search for award availability without .NET failures.

We were not able to check in online last week.

Then yesterday I was trying to book an award flight and on the last page, it wouldn't let me finish because it said I didn't have enough miles. I had plenty of miles, but it still stopped me. I called the reservation line to finish and they wanted to charge me the fee for booking by phone. They finally relented and let me make the reservations with no additional fee. The agent said they know about the problems and are working on it!

Pitiful customer service! They continually badgered you to pay the booking fee and finally conceded they knew of the web problem??? Bizarre
