Can't access the "classic" website tonight. Only the "new" ww2. Shopping for flights when the availability/fare matrix displays I am offered coach non-refundable but the coach flexible shows sold-out for every flight. I even changed cities and got the same thing. I find it hard to believe that if they are still offering discounted no-refundable tickets there is no availability even in the Y bucket. I want to purchase a refundable ticket because my dates are only a few days away so the Y fare isn't that much more anyway and my plans are very likely to change so I want the option of either no change fees or a full refund if I don't use the ticket.

What gives???

The new website does not appear to work properly on a Mac - at least not on my two. When I go to manage a reservation the spinning USAirways flags appear and then nothing else until you quit the application. It's the same whether using Safari or Firefox. This has been the case from day one but I could avoid the problem by using the old website, but it looks that's now gone.

To access the old site just type in: usairways.com/awa without the "www"

That'll do the trick.

I'm now able to access the classic site (http://www.usairways.com/awa/default.aspx) however some features, like seat maps, are very slow to load.

Thanks for the tip. On further investigation it looks like the problem is just with award reservations on the new site. I can access paid reservations on a Mac or a PC but award reservations on neither. I don't know if this has been reported previously or not.

I have a problem with the new web site accepting my dm number.

My number has 11 digits and the first 4 are zeros. Ive tried it both with and without the leading zeros.

I can log in with my number but cannot look up reservations with it or Check-in using it. I called about this a few weeks ago and was told it was a known bug and that I should use the old web pages. Now, that doesn't even seem possible.

I also miss being able to list all of my reservations as I have a lot of reservations with US Airways.

It a royal pain to have bring up reservations one at a time, made even worse because the new system won't accept my DM number.

Does anyone else have trouble on the new site switching to a different seat? I find once a seat is assigned on the new site, it's locked in and I cannot change the seat even though the seat map comes up and there plenty of other choices. These aren't shuttle flights either, it just doesn't let me change my assigned seat.

I logged into my account on both the new and old sites and the new site was missing a current reservation that is showing under the old site, and the new site is showing a canceled reservation from 2008, but not the current reservation. Weird.

Today, October 8, calendar files can't be downloaded from either the old or new site, using either Firefox or Explorer. I've been trying all morning.

Apparently, I am the only one with website problems! Today I tried to book my first ticket on the new site. Went through the entire process, got to the Pay Now button...and nothing happened when I clicked it! I tried three times. So I went to the old site and booked the ticket.

What's the point of a site that won't let you purchase?

I booked a ticket on the new US.com just now and it worked without issue, that is not endorsement of the site, just an observation.

I attempted my purchase around noon or 1 pm ET on Saturday. I tried with both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Neither worked.

And mine didn't work at all except on the old website. The time of purchase at the old website was actually 2:05 PM ET (11:05 AM in PHX) 10/10/09, later than I thought. I am a travel manager and was booking multiple tickets on various airlines and this one I had to come back to, because of it not working.

Finally got a ticket booked on the new site, checked prices on the old site to ensure they were equivalent before I hit the Go button.

Now, I can see the reservation in the new web site but no luck in the old site. I can bring it up using the code but it is not automatically displayed based on my FF #.

Checked the new site and called US and both confirmed the FF # is associated with the record.

Reservations, you don't need to see your reservations .....
