How do I reach prefered status? Do the miles include tickets purchased for both my wife and I? Is it 25000 miles traveled in 2008 for both of us, and who do I contact to check on all of this? Thanks

It's 25,000 to get to Silver for ~each~ of you (you and your wife cannot pool your miles).
