0 miles, 0 segments..and total mileage balance under 100 miles (due to low earning recently and having used a bunch recently).

Mine had the opposite effect. I was Silver for all of 2013, but with my final DPQM promotion flight that posted yesterday, it bumped me to Gold this morning. It was a very nice sight to see.

I feel the same way. Everything has reset to zero and my next trip is 2 weeks away. This was a very slow travel year for me so I'm excited to get started on the long 100,000 mile path to Chairmans.

I went to check in online and I just saw my account....I'm new to this game I only needed 19 to get to the next level. Does that mean I have to start all over?

Are you aware there's a nonstop? I would never connect through CLT to go to FLL, hell I'd take the Jet Blue flight if the US flight was sold out or too expensive.

Yes, all PQM's and segments for status earning purposes get reset every Jan 1. You of course don't lose your earned miles (provided they haven't expired). Any status you achieved in the 2012 calendar year is valid thru Feb 28, 2014.
