Nothing magical about this... it's not a bad deal, but also not a very good one.
Must be making US some money.

Can the mods combine ALL Buy & Share promos and make it a sub-thread?

I think someone has an Excel file detailing the dates and the pricing of each US Buy and Share offers since 2009 or so. Would like a sub thread or sticky with the historical promo dates, pricing and conditions (e.g. 50k limit, targeted, etc) on the first post/page.

US is running these promos regularly now and we should have a single discussion thread like GS 2011.

Just my 2 miles (or 1 mile with 1 bonus mile until Nov 30 ) worth

USDM is becoming like a supermarket. Every month they sell their miles at a promtion

I guess these guys are desperate for cash to complete their merger with AA.

The share promotion was way better.... but if you can use the miles, this is not too bad either.

Can snag a C ticket to Asia for less than $1750. Not too bad when you look at it that way.

Assuming you're going there anyway, of course.

100% Gifting Bonus

What is the difference between gifting and sharing?

When I log in to my account, I have the 100% gifting bonus. 50,000 + 50,000 = $500+Tax.

Thats pretty good isn't it? I forgot how much I paid last month for share bonus....

Gifting is just buying for another account, it doesn't affect your miles.
And you are mistaken... gifting 50k+50k will cost you $1.750+taxes.

Wow, US airways selling miles like candy and I am buying them like crazy in 2012. I hope they continue their *A partnership. Don't need more DSDM.

I am based in PST region and it is still valid for me @11.44 PST If you go to the link to buy/sell miles it will let you know if you are getting the bonus in the pull down menu for the number of miles.

Maybe try a proxy for HNL if this doesn't get to you in time.....
