US Removing Pillows and Blankets from Express

Sorry if this has been covered already, but we got a memo about a week ago telling us that Tempe has made the decision to remove the pillows and blankets from all Express flights. All the carriers are effected as far as I know.

I would suggest you all do what you have to do to get them back on the aircraft. We've all been complaining about it, but it has fallen on deaf ears so far.

There's no use complaining. They won't listen - it really is a shame.

Ditto. I've never seen them on PSA or Republic flights.

That said, I've never used one before. They are a nasty carrier of sneezes, sick kids, floor crap and more...

Ick. Good riddance germs!

You have a valid point there. I've never used them either but thought I might be the only one.

Instead of buying new ones for the E190s... they have to get pillows and blankies somewhere.

I am with you, there isn't enough money in the entire world for me to use either one. I do sit on a pillow from time to time because I find Airbus seats to be extremely hard.

Yes, their real value on an RJ is to sit on them, especially the exit row seats, which have to be the most uncomfortable airline seat out there.

Knowing that's how I use them, I would never put one to my head.

Amen...another cost cutting effort gone right US needs to improve other areas of customer service...certainly not the areas of passengers sitting their asses on the pillows but improving the cabin seating and atomsphere.
