DM MasterCard
Is it just me or is Barclays really pushing their US Airways DM card? Has it been decided whether Barclays or Citi will prevail after the merger of the two programs?

It's established that only Citi will offer new AA cards. Barclays is pushing it while they have the last chance to issue new cards, and they will continue with AA branding after the merger.

Halfway down the first page of this forum (US pre-merger) is a thread all about this:

Thanks for the tip! I'm new to the U.S./AA community and hadn't realized that the programs were still being managed separately on this forum. Nonetheless, now seems a great time to get a DM credit card.

Citi just started giving 2x miles for US Air purchases as well as AA so now so the value of the BarclayCard is still there but not as good as it was.
My guess is Citi will prevail.
