Where can I enter my trusted Traveler number for TSA Pre?
I am registered for global entry and have a trusted traveller number. That should also give me access to TSA pre.
But for some reason my boarding pass never has any mentioning of it or is coded in a way that I can use the pre-fast lane at airports.
How can I change that? Do I need to enter something during check-in? Can my travel agent do something during booking?

You can probably call US DM and do it. I just looked up my account info at US Airways.com. My precheck number is there-I remember adding it. I don't see a field for GE though. (I am not GE.)

If you booked with US...
Log into your Dividend Miles account.
• Click on Account Information (left column of right box near the top)
• Scroll down to the bottom of the page to Other Info.
• Enter Redress and Known Traveller boxes.
If you booked on another airline, make sure your KTN is in your profile with that airline's system. It should transfer depending on the airline. AA's is one that does.

You can also enter in your KTN when checking in, although in my experience, unless the KTN is in your profile when you book the ticket, you won't necessarily get Pre-Check by entering it when checking in.

Go to the US page and log in to your account - click on account information - add your GE number to the known traveler box. That is all you need to do for any future reservations.
For reservations already made - you will get an option to add it at check in. Be sure to do this as adding it to your profile doesn't help any past reservations.

If you've already booked your ticket, you will need to call to have your KT number entered on your reservation. I have to do this often with corporate bookings.

Thanks for all the replies.
Guess I'll need to call. I am not exactly a straightforward case: not a US FFP member, but traveling with my British Airways card. Not a US Citizen either, but since some time foreigners with GE are also entitled to use TSA Pre. And for some reason my (repatedly extremely stupid) travel agent has put my ticket together with a separate BA ticket under one and the same PNR, which may mix up things even more.
I'll try and report back.
Thanks again for all the hints.
