Early AM out of BUF?

Early AM out of BUF?
I try and avoid early AM flights period. But I may have one BUF-DCA on a Sunday, leaving at 5:40 AM or so.
Has anyone flown this recently? The US Airways website shows Pre-Check as N/A, although it shows on the TSA website. Any ideas about security lines in the early AM?
It looks like the ticket counter is open at 3:30 AM, although I hope not to need it, and security opens at 4 AM. Is anything else (e.g., coffee!) open? Anyone know if the nearby hotels offer shuttles at those early hours?
